About the Organization
The Health Plan of San Mateo (HPSM) is a managed care health plan that provides health care benefits to San Mateo County's underserved residents. Current membership is approximately 144,000. It is a County Organized Health System. Members of HPSM receive benefits through the following programs:

* CareAdvantage
* Healthy Families
* Healthy Kids
* HealthWorx
HPSM is governed by the San Mateo Health Commission. Members of the Commission represent community advocates, physicians, pharmacists, and elected officials that serve on the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors.
