About the Organization
Welcome to Irwin Army Community Hospital (IACH), part of the Army Medical Civilian Corps. IACH is located at Ft. Riley, Kansas, ''Home of the Big Red One.'' Tucked away in the rolling Flint Hills of Kansas, IACH has been providing progressive healthcare to soldiers, military families, and retirees of the Greater Fort Riley Area since 1853. With a wide variety of services, IACH provides patients with compassionate, state-of-the-art care.
Irwin Army Community Hospital provides numerous civilian employment career opportunities for individuals who are committed to a career providing excellent healthcare services. We pride ourselves on ensuring exceptional service in all aspects of heath care available. Employees are committed to delivering a comprehensive range of both in and outpatient services. IACH is searching for medical professionals who can help fill and meet the increasing demand for medical services in an ever-growing community.
In 2009 the Department of Defense approved IACH to build a brand new hospital. The construction has already began and it will be a $404 million, 550,000 square foot facility, opening in June 2014. The new facility will expand to 47-beds and will include a new inpatient psychiatric unit.
