About the Organization
Located in Baltimore, MD., Kennedy Krieger Institute is an internationally recognized institution dedicated to improving the lives of children and adolescents with pediatric developmental disabilities and disorders of the brain, spinal cord and musculoskeletal system, through patient care, special education, research, and professional training. We are affiliated with Johns Hopkins University so our positions come with a faculty appointment at JHU. Our positions offer exciting opportunities for patient care, teaching, and research in a stimulating and collegial environment. Duties will include participation on the inpatient service, consult service and outpatient clinics with other members of the department.
The Kennedy Krieger Childrens Hospital provides inpatient care to approximately 350 children per year with a wide variety of disorders. The outpatient department at Kennedy Krieger sees approximately 12,000 patients per year with many different diagnoses.
Founded in 1937, Kennedy Krieger is an international resource with a strong tradition of providing comprehensive rehabilitation services for children and young adults with disorders of the brain, spinal cord, and musculoskeletal system.
