About the Organization
In the beautiful California Sierra foothills, Sierra Emergency Medical Group (SEMG) has staffed the emergency department and two urgent care centers for Adventist Health Sonora. SEMG is seeking two PA's or FNP's to work in our rapid cares. The hospital was built in 2004 and is the only hospital serving Tuolumne County and the surrounding areas. Indian Rock Rapid Care was started in 1993 and is open from 8a-4p Monday through Saturday. Angels Camp Rapid Care was opened in 2011 and is open 8a-4p Monday through Friday. Shifts are 8a -5p. The positions are for full time with a $7,500 relocation bonus, health benefits, participation in a 401k and life insurance. Providers choose to live here to enjoy the smaller town, family atmosphere and countless outdoor activities while remaining within two hours of Sacramento and three hours of San Francisco.
About the Community
Live. Work. Play. Although relatively small with 2,235 square miles, Tuolumne County is a region of great contrasts. The Stanislaus National Forest, Yosemite National Park, and other surrounding areas provide incredible natural vistas and settings for hiking, water skiing, horseback riding, rafting, camping, snowmobiling, boating, snow skiing, fishing and other outdoor activities. But that is not all -- manmade attractions abound, as well. Seven restored historic hotels, a preserved 1849 gold rush era town, wine tasting, six area golf courses, numerous gourmet restaurants, train rides, casino, five museums, two state historic sites, live theater and many charming bed-and-breakfasts are among the many other attributes that make the county a true year round vacation destination.
