About the Organization
Mendocino Coast Clinics is a not for profit Federally Qualified Health Center providing quality, patient centered healthcare services to all residents of the Mendocino Coast, regardless of their ability to pay for services.
Since its inception in 1994, the Clinic has steadily grown to its current four sites, adding staff and services to meet the changing needs of our community. MCC is one of the leading employers in Fort Bragg, the largest town on the Mendocino Coast, with more than 120 staff members caring for more than 10,000 patients a year.
About the Community
Mendocino Coast Clinics is located in Fort Bragg, a quaint, historic town on the spectacular Mendocino Coast in Northern California. Just three hours drive north of San Francisco, it is a world away, with fresh air, unspoiled scenery, towering redwoods and rocky beaches.
Mendocino is one of the original California counties, settled in the early 1850s by loggers and fishermen. The entire village of Mendocino is on the National Register of Historic Places, and the New York Times named the Mendocino Coast third out of the 52 top destinations around the world to visit. The area is rich in history and natural beauty - a unique and special place to call home.
