About the Organization
The Arkansas Army National has medical units and opprtunities for Medical Professionals througout the State. Primary Medical Doctor positions are located in Central Arkansas
Physicians receive a direct appointment into the Army Guard and basic training is NOT required. Most entry grades for doctors is Captain with some obtaining Major based on years of experience in the civilian sector.
Currently, qualified physicians receive up to $75,000.00 special pay and $240,000.00 laond repayment, as well as a drill check for working one weekend a month, $400,000.00 life insurance and an opportunity to purchase medical insurance.
