VHA is committed to improving Veteran access to healthcare by connecting, matching, placing, and retaining highly qualified VA-trained Health Professions Trainees (HPTs) in critical vacancies. Hiring current HPTs can be quick and easy. HPTs may be selected and tentatively offered positions up to one year prior to, and any time after, completion of their training. All HPTs that have successfully completed or are expected to successfully complete an affiliate-sponsored or VA-sponsored training program are eligible. We want to engage our VA-trained and highly qualified HPTs to fill our staffing needs.
