About the Organization
La Clinica is a community health center that provides culturally appropriate, accessible, and affordable quality health care to diverse communities in Southern Oregon, focusing especially on people who face barriers to care. We operate seven neighborhood health centers, 11 school-based centers, and a mobile health center, providing primary medical care, dental care, and wellness services.
At our primary care centers, multi-disciplinary teams focus on providing excellent medical care and supporting the emotional and social needs of our patients, both adults and children. These teams include physicians, family nurse practitioners, physician assistants, health coaches, nurses, medical assistants, registration and records clerks, and team leads. Each team has a clinical leader and a manager.
As a federally qualified health center (FQHC), La Clinica serves people who need us the most through exceptional, affordable, and compassionate care.
La Clinica sites are National Health Service Corps certified, so health professionals may qualify for the NHSC loan repayment program. We have a primary care score of 20 and assist all of our providers through the process.

ABOUT SOUTHERN OREGON
The Rogue Valley region La Clinica serves is known for its great outdoor and cultural life. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival in Ashland is highly regarded for both traditional drama and innovative productions on its indoor and outdoor stages. The music scene includes in many genres performing in outdoor amphitheaters, large theaters, wineries, and clubs. The valley also has a diverse visual arts. Southern Oregon University is in Ashland.
A growing food scene features options ranging from farmers markets to fine dining, and complements the regions many vineyards and wineries that produce award-winning wines. The Rogue, Klamath, and Upper Sacramento rivers are known for rafting and fishing. Numerous small Cascade streams and mountain lakes are found within an hour drive of our valley. The scenic Oregon coast is easily accessible. An extensive trail network caters to mountain bikers, hikers, and an active community of endurance athletes. The region is also home to a number of fine golf courses.
