About the Organization
Salemhaven Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Services is an independent 110 bed not for profit long-term and short-term skilled nursing facility conveniently located in a beautiful country setting in Salem, NH. We are Medicaid and Medicare certified and provide general medical and 24-hour nursing care, as well as a number of specialized programs and services for our residents.
Since we opened our doors over 40 years ago, Salemhavens mission has been to serve the community of Salem and to do the best job possible. The quality of life of our residents is our first priority and it is the foundation on which we were built.
We are proud to say that our staff at Salemhaven, many who have been a part of the Salemhaven family for over 10 years, is committed to delivering high-quality and compassionate care to those whose needs have been entrusted to us.

About the Community
Salem is a northern suburb of Boston located on Interstate 93. As the first town along I-93 northbound in New Hampshire, which lacks any state sales tax, Salem has grown into a regional commercial hub for many nearby Massachusetts towns, anchored by the Mall at Rockingham Park. Other major sites include Canobie Lake Park, a large amusement park; and America's Stonehenge, a stone structure of disputed origins.
