About the Organization
At CCI Health & Wellness Services, work is more than just a job, its a purpose. Every day we strive to create a more equitable health care experience for communities made vulnerable by social, economic, and cultural barriers. Our commitment is to empower patients at all stages of life through an unmatched, high quality, affordable health care experience.
We help individuals live fuller lives by supporting their health and wellness journey. We do this by providing complete care, encompassing medical, behavioral, and dental care as well as specialty programs in HIV/AIDS treatment, prenatal, and refugee health care. To supplement these, we also offer access to WIC, nutrition counseling, and family planning services.
About the Community
In nearly 50 years, CCI Health & Wellness Services has evolved from a volunteer-driven safety-net clinic to a vibrant, integrated, multidisciplinary organization focused on improving the overall health and wellness of its community. Now a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), CCI serves over 60,000 individuals in Montgomery and Prince Georges Counties, Maryland through six primary care sites and five WIC offices and is accredited by The Joint Commission (JC).
Since its first days in Rockville, MD, CCI has continued to grow, now including locations in Gaithersburg, Germantown, Greenbelt, Rockville, Silver Spring, Takoma Park, and Wheaton Maryland. Its staff of nearly 300 facilitates more than 105,000 patient visits a year. The organization also operates Marylands largest Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program with 30,000 participants.
Our purpose is to help the members of our communities obtain positive health outcomes. Whether by nutrition counseling, behavioral health interventions, medical and dental treatments, or resource alignment, each one of us, regardless of our function, is making a difference in someones life.
