Davidson Family Medicine offers an alternative to being a hospital or academic center employee. As a hospital employee, you will see patients based on the institutions timetable and refer to specialists within that institution. At Davidson Family Medicine, you are free to refer to the best specialist for your patient at any hospital or independent group. You are doing what is best for the patient while also preventing burnout!
At our practice, you can also gain passive income from ancillary sources beyond your production, such as our APPs, our CLIA lab, and imaging center. At DFM, value-based payments are attributed directly to YOU and not the institution. Value-based payments are replacing fee-for-service payments. This is the reimbursement platform of the future!
Of course, there are many tangible benefits of being an MD at Davidson Family Medicine. You will be compensated extremely well for your talents. About the Community
Our physicians love practicing in the heart of historic downtown Davidson, and you will too!
Davidson is the home of Davidson College and a quick 20 min. from Charlotte. We are in an ideal location for practicing family medicine. Were not located in a strip mall or hospital. Patients can walk or bike to our practice. We have our own 13,000 sq ft building which blends into the surrounding Main Street atmosphere of coffee shops, restaurants, and shops. Our providers children attend school within safe walking distance of our practice, and one physicians children even take dance lessons next door at Dance Davidson!
Davidsons Main Street, where Davidson Family Medicine is situated, has a Farmers Market, wide sidewalks, a bustling library, and flowers everywhere. The Town Green is used for outdoor concerts, play dates, pick-up football games, and exercise groups. We have 20+ miles of greenway.
Davidsons signature events: April is for Arts; Town Day; Sunday evening live Concerts on the Green; Fourth of July Parade; Halloween march; Christmas in Davidson.
Children who reside in Davidson are assigned to Davidson K-8 school which is located within walking distance of downtown Davidson and Davidson College.
