About the Organization
PCHS is a nonprofit community health center dedicated to providing person centered and comprehensive care.
Peninsula Community Health Services provides a broad range of healthcare clinic services to families in Kenai, Soldotna and the surrounding area. Our warm, compassionate staff cares for every patient, regardless of the individuals income level, age, or health. Preventative medicine is a critical component of leading a healthy lifestyle, and Peninsula Community Health Services offer medical, dental, and behavioral health services.
New to PCHS is the Same Day Care Clinic providing quick, convenient care to those experiencing symptoms from illnesses such as cold, flu, strep, and pneumonia. Our Dental clinic has a walk-in emergency clinic which opens at 7:45 in the morning, so patients dont have to wait all day for an appointment. The behavioral health services provide psychiatry and healthcare support programs for individuals and families.
Peninsula Community Health Services accepts Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance, and we strive to contribute to the health and vitality of the local community. Visit our website, www.PCHSak.org, to learn more about the healthcare we provide.
About the Community
PCHS is located on the Central Kenai Peninsula in Southcentral Alaska. We have clinics in both Kenai and Soldotna, which are about 11 miles apart. The Kenai Peninsula Borough has a population of approximately 58,600.
The Kenai River joins the two cities and is a world-famous sport fishing destination. However, our community offers so much more including art, entertainment, parks and recreation.
