About the Organization
The Brigham and Women's Hospital is a 171-bed community Hospital associated with a major academic center in Boston, Massachusetts. The hospital is committed to high quality care serving the residence in both Massachusetts and abroad. We feature a collegial work environment where anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative nursing collaborate to provide excellent care in a supportive environment. Located on the periphery of Boston and adjacent to the Harvard Arboretum, we enjoy the benefit of proximity to a major Metropolitan city without the congestion of city traffic. Benefits within the Harvard system are extremely generous including retirement plan supplementation, life and disability insurance, and exceptional malpractice coverage through CRICO.
We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, pregnancy and pregnancy-related conditions or any other characteristic protected by law. The Department values diversity among its faculty, is committed to building a culturally diverse intellectual community, and strongly encourages applications from women and minorities.
