About the Organization
We believe in improving our patients' health and quality of life, one person at a time. We strive to create healthier communitieswherever we go. For too many of our patients, we provide their first formal medical examination in years, or ever. Many experience trauma, poor living conditions, or suffer from undiagnosed mental illnesses that adversely impact their lives and well-being. Our team of mission-driven professionals transform public health by delivering hope and healing and promoting health equity. We treat our patients with dignity and compassion and work cooperatively with our partners to provide the best care.
We deliver medical and mental healthcare through a family of local and state providers in correctional facilities, inpatient and residential treatment facilities, forensic treatment facilities, and civil commitment centers. Wellpath employs over 15,000 professionals in 37 states across America and Australia and cares for almost 300,000 patients daily.

Our line of work deals with some of the country's most fragile and vulnerable populations. We must carefully design an approach to match the patient with the right care.
Operational Efficiencies We bring 35 years of healthcare expertise to our partners, which includes a deep understanding of how to work with your staff to form one efficient team working in unison.
Electronic Medical Records Our vision is to have every patient in our care on an electronic medical record. With this data, we will gain unprecedented insights regarding patient care and ways to improve outcomes in time.
Cost Containment Healthcare in jails, prisons, and inpatient and residential treatment facilities is specific, complicated, and often costly. From security to transportation to network development, we work with partners to provide patients with the best yet most efficient care.
Risk Management Better care means fewer adverse outcomes and less litigation.
