PRACTICE DESCRIPTION

Granger Medical Clinic (GMC) is a physician-owned, independent, multi-specialty group in Salt Lake City, Utah. With 60 providers and a 52-year history of providing excellent medical services, GMC is large enough to enjoy favorable partnerships with most major insurance plans, yet each provider retains the autonomy to practice medicine as he or she chooses. Granger enjoys a well-functioning electronic medical records system, including digital imaging, and has two satellite clinics located in West Jordan and Riverton, within in the Salt Lake Valley.

LOCATION DESCRIPTION

Granger Medical Clinic is located in the center of the Salt Lake Valley in an area of significant population growth and new housing development. Just miles from the city center and minutes from Utah''s beautiful canyons, this location offers the best of city living (with world-class symphony, ballet, and theater) as well as unique opportunities for outdoor recreation (including skiing, biking, hiking, fishing, and mountain-climbing).

SALARY INFORMATION

New providers enter a two-year agreement. The first year compensation is a market-competitive salary in addition to three weeks of vacation/sick leave and one week of CME (including a CME allowance of $2000). Also, the clinic offers a relocation allowance and covers first year practice expenses, including malpractice insurance and state licensing fees. The second year compensation is paid based on production according to an income distribution formula used for all shareholders. After two years, physicians have the option of becoming shareholders in the clinic. Medical, dental, life, and disability insurance as well as 401k retirement benefits are also available.
