Greetings and welcome to the southwest Land of Enchantment, Indian Health Service located in the surrounding areas of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Colorado and Texas servicing 84,000 American Indians and Alaska Natives!
Our overall Mission is to raise the physical, mental, social, and spiritual health of American Indians and Alaskan Natives to the highest level throughout the 567 federally recognized tribes in the United states.
The Albuquerque Area Delivers healthcare throughout; Five hospitals, 11 health centers and 12 field clinics that are administratively divided into 10 Service Units.
The Albuquerque Area is responsible for the provision of health services to 27 distinctly different tribal groups. The Area serves 20 Pueblos, two Apache bands, three Navajo Chapters, and two Ute tribes across the Southwest states.
Currently we are hiring Leadership Clinical Directors (Internal Medicine/Administrative) Physicians for two of our service units. We are also currently hiring Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Nurses, Psychologists, Dentists and much more....
