About the Organization
Crusader Community Health was founded in 1972. One of 1,200 Community Health Centers.
Our mission is to serve the Rock River Valley area with quality primary care for all people in need.
All of our Physicians are board certified or board eligible.
We have 5 sites and a 6th site opening in April 2017. Currently we serve over 50,000 patients and seen visits increase to over 213,000 last year.
Our organization and staff are dedicated and hard at work. The work environment includes lots of support from staff and a ample amount of resources to navigate patients to utilize.
Benefit packages includes medical, dental, and optical insurance, malpractice insurance including gap and tail insurance, licensure fees, professional expenses for professional organizations, education expenses for CME, and relocation allowance.
Crusader Community Health is also a National Health Service Corps site for student loan repayment and sponsors J1 H1B waivers.
About the Community
Rockford Illinois is a little city with big life. Nicknamed the "The Forest City," because of the beautiful botanical gardens and parks. Home of 155,000 people.
Our 5 facilities operate in Rockford IL, Belvidere IL, and Loves Park IL. Crusader Community Health will be adding a 6th location in the middle of Rockford in April 2017.
Some of the places to adventure in Rockford are Anderson Japanese Gardens, Burpee Museum of Natural History, Coronado Performing Arts Theatre, Klehm Arboretum & Botanical Gardens, and Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens.
Kids adventure includes Alpine Hills Adventure Park, Discovery Center Museum, Magic Waters Waterpark, and Rock Cut State Park.
There are activities that the whole family would enjoy including our state of the art Sportscore complex with soccer, baseball, softball, basketball and many more indoor and outdoor sports for leagues and tournaments.
Rockford also includes many places to dine with affordable living for all. Located 1 hour 1/2 away from Chicago and 1 hour away from the O'Hare Airport and Wisconsin.
