La Casa Family Health Center has been providing healthcare to the community for over 40 years! Our health centers are staffed with seasoned medical providers offering specialties in family medicine, internal medicine, geriatrics, pediatrics, obstetrics, gynecology, dental, and behavioral health services. Our rich history within the community is our bond. Our local ties ground us and motivate our health clinics to continue to provide the highest quality healthcare our patients deserve.
We are an innovative, community-based, financially resourceful, total healthcare organization committed to evidenced-based quality primary care for the entire family with emphasis on the medically underserved in southeast New Mexico. Our communities look up to our medical providers and see them as pillars within our towns. Patients enjoy the extra time our physicians are able to spend with them, translating to personable patient care and deeper relationships within our rural community.
About the Community
Our rural community offers many unique benefits that only smaller towns can provide. The quality of life here is exceptional, with the cost of living being significantly less than larger surrounding cities. Low crime rates, strongly supported school systems, and close proximity to Eastern New Mexico University prove to be desired.
Our communities are less congested which also makes for an easy commute. New Mexico offers easy access to mountains and lakes, amazing authentic cuisine, and preserved cultural traditions. Larger cities such as Lubbock and Amarillo are 90 miles away; and destination sites such as Albuquerque and Santa Fe are within a four hour drive.
